dining Eating on campus? Find the building and floor CityUHK

Choose for today: location, then hours

Choose campus or residence first, then check the hours. BOC is Bank of China (Hong Kong) Complex, LI is Li Dak Sum Yip Yio Chin Academic Building, LAU is Lau Ming Wai Academic Building and CMC is Run Run Shaw Creative Media Centre. Find the outlet on its listed floor.

Dishes and prices depend on the day’s supply. Check the item, portion, total price and payment method before ordering, then follow the queue and collection arrangements.

  1. Find the complete building name

For YEUNG/BOC use BOC 5/F City Express/5380; LI 3/F AC2; LAU 3/F Street Cafe or 7/F Bistro; CMC 3/F CMCAFE. Reach the building before finding the floor; old AC2/AC3 names alone are insufficient. Campus meeting points also help locate the buildings: BOC C, LI G/H, LAU E and CMC K.

  2. Exclude closed outlets

Rule out closed outlets using the hours below. After 21:00 or on Sundays, use this page’s weekend/evening section and call to confirm last orders before setting out.

  3. Check menu, price and dietary needs

Read today’s prices/payment signs before ordering. Name specific allergens and ask about shared equipment/cross-contact. Cuisine labels/Halal do not establish individual allergy safety.

  4. Pay and verify collection

Keep receipt/order number and check items/amount. Show it to staff for missing items, payment errors or dietary concerns; follow up using the listed phone.

Residence meals: KLT cafeteria and MOS robot canteen

KLT residence has Chateau du bois: the current SRO facilities page lists regular service 08:00–22:00, last order 21:30. Find it in the central residence compound at 22 Cornwall Street, beside Multi-function Hall B, using the Cafeteria/Chateau du bois signs. MOS has a HEYFOOD robot canteen: the original residence material locates it outside the former canteen/CAN at 2 Choi Sha Street; look for the HEYFOOD machine.

The conventional MOS Hall Canteen (P-012) has been suspended since 6 February 2026 until further notice; the current notice list contains no reopening announcement as of this check. The original material places the robot canteen outside the former canteen. HEYFOOD’s 24-hour machine service does not establish reopening of the conventional restaurant.

HEYFOOD’s MOS announcements dated 9 and 17 September 2026 confirm 24-hour service with hot rice, noodles and steamed items. The machine photograph shows QR ordering, Octopus and AlipayHK payment logos, and a labelled Pick-Up Point. This is the operator’s current announcement. Check each dish’s availability, price and collection estimate in the ordering interface; temporary coupons are not permanent prices.

Check payment and dietary needs per outlet

The directory lists cash for City Chinese Restaurant, The Street Cafe and CMCAFE. Other outlets have different payment methods; check before ordering.

For allergies or dietary requirements, ask staff about that day’s ingredients and preparation. A directory food category does not establish suitability or a fixed daily menu.
